Continuing Education Requirements in the State of Colorado Beginning in 2009, all licensed architects in Colorado will be required to earn 16.0 health, safety and welfare (HSW) professional development units (PDU) during every two-year license renewal period. For the renewal period ending July 31, 2009, all licensed architects will need to earn 4.0 PDU.
