AIA Colorado seeks to:
- unite the architects of the state of Colorado in fellowship;
- promote the aesthetic, scientific and business practice of architecture;
- advance architectural standards of continuing education, training and practice; and
- build relationships among clients, the construction industry and architects.
AIA Colorado believes that an important purpose of architecture is to create a vision that improves the built environment. This vision is vital to the advancement of the living standards of our communities and provides a service of ever-increasing value to society.
AIA Colorado provides help in "finding an architect," lobbies the Colorado legislature, publishes architectural employment information, offers continuing education programs and sells AIA Contract Documents and other publications. The organization hosts an annual Design Conference and provides support to all the chapters within the state. It is a professional organization for the design profession and is classified as "not-for-profit."
