Architectural Registration Exams (ARE) Materials Library Committee
This committee manages the ARE Materials Library, which is available only to and at no charge to all AIA Colorado North members.
Design Awards Committee
The Design Awards Committee program seeks to honor works of distinction by members and to bring to public attention the outstanding architectural services provided AIA Colorado North members. The awards are presented annually at the fall awards gala. This committee also coordinates the silent auction for the event, a benefit for The Architectural Education AIACN Scholarship program.
Annual Golf Tournament Committee
The Annual Golf Tournament Committee organizes this summer event that allows architects and industry sponsors to meet and socialize in a fun tournament atmosphere. In addition to the networking opportunities of the tournament, this also serves as one of the AIA Colorado North’s largest fundraising venues.
Community Service Committee
This committee works to identify and implement community service projects for the chapter.
Programs Committee
This committee updates the chapter calendar on www.aiacolorado.org and plans upcoming events within the chapter, including conferences, lectures, happy hours and other pertinent community events.
Continuing Education Committee
This committee works identifies presenters and topics for the annual Eat & Educate series.
Film Series Committee
This committee identifies architectural interest film screenings in coordination with the Live After Five associates networking program.
Architecture, Art & Appetizers
This committee plans two annual events, one in Ft. Collins and one in Boulder, which are continuing education and public outreach opportunities for the chapter. Each event entails 10 presenters presenting a 10-slide presentation on a topic related to architecture or art.
Honor Awards Committee
This committee collects and reviews submittals for the architect of the year, firm of the year, contribution to the built environment by a non-architect, student of the year and 25-year awards.
