AIA Colorado West is the largest geographical area, covering 28 counties in Western Colorado, and includes the communities of Aspen, Breckenridge, Crested Butte, Durango, Glenwood Springs, Grand Junction, Steamboat Springs and Vail. Counties include Archuleta, Chafee, Conejos, Delta, Dolores, Eagle, Garfield, Grand, Gunnison, Hinsdale, Jackson, Lake, La Plata, Mesa, Mineral, Moffatt, Montezuma, Montrose, Ouray, Park, Pitkin, Rio Blanco, Rio Grand, Routt, Saguache, Summit, San Juan and San Miguel.

Meetings
The AIA Colorado West board of directors meeting generally occurs on the third Thursday of the month. All members are invited to participate. Meeting times and locations will be posted on the calendar.
AIA Colorado West Three- to Five-Year Mission-Vision Initiatives
AIA Colorado West, the collective voice of architects in a diverse region, aims to:
- Provide continuing education for licensure and professional development.
- Provide networking and collaboration opportunities for members.
- Educate the public about the profession as a recognizable resource though community service.
- Cultivate leaders and provide leadership opportunities.
- Influence and impact government affairs at the local level as a collective voice.
- Promote high standards and ethical practice.
- Support the unique diversity of practices in the Western Slope region.
