AIA Colorado South Eat and Educate: Understanding Energy Efficient Windows

Join AIA Colorado South from 12 – 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 17, for Understanding Energy Efficient Windows, an Eat and Educate presented by Marvin Windows. The program will take place at the Penrose Library Carnegie Reading Room (20 N. Cascade Ave., Colorado Springs, Colo.).
Attendees can earn 1.0 health, safety and welfare (HSW) AIA continuing education learning unit. Under the state of Colorado’s rules for continuing education for state licensure renewal, this program meets the requirements for 1.0 HSW professional development hour.
This seminar addresses variables that determine a window’s energy efficiency such as U-factors, solar heat gain and loss, visible transmittance, air infiltration, frame construction and glazing options.
This program is free for all AIA Colorado South members, and lunch will be provided by Marvin Windows. Non-members seeking continuing education credit may attend for a fee of $20.
