AIA Colorado South Eat and Educate: High Performance Buildings: Spray Foam Insulation

Save to my calendarJoin AIA Colorado South from 12 – 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17, for High Performance Buildings: Spray Foam Thermal Envelope, an Eat and Educate presented by Penguins Coat. The program will take place at the Penrose Library Carnegie Reading Room (20 N. Cascade Ave., Colorado Springs, Colo.).
Attendees can earn 1.0 health, safety and welfare (HSW) AIA continuing education learning unit. Under the state of Colorado’s rules for continuing education for state licensure renewal, this program meets the requirements for 1.0 HSW professional development hour.
This seminar addresses the impact of spray foam insulation on the building performance, the benefits on moisture control, indoor air quality, sound attenuation, dust reduction, the proliferation of molds and mildew, overall comfort of buildings, the basic building sciences of building construction, application techniques of low density and medium density spray foam technologies in various areas of the building construction, simple integration with spray foam insulation and building codes and the difference between low density, open cell and medium density, closed cell spray foam insulation.
This program is free for all AIA Colorado South members, and lunch will be provided by Penguins Coat. Non-members seeking continuing education credit may attend for a fee of $20. Download a non-member registration form here.
