AIA Colorado South Code Class: 2009 International Energy Conservation Code

Join AIA Colorado South for 2009 International Energy Conservation Code Overview, and earn 7.5 HSW AIA sustainable design learning units on Wednesday, March 10, from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Penrose Library Carnegie Reading Room (20 N. Cascade Ave., Colorado Springs, Colo.).
This class qualifies for 7.5 HSW sustainability AIA continuing education learning units. Under the state of Colorado’s rules for continuing education for state licensure renewal, these programs meet the requirements for 7.5 HSW professional development units.
Both commercial and residential plan review and inspection techniques will be reviewed in this seminar on the provisions of the 2006 International Energy Conservation Code. Discussion will include climate zones, thermal envelope, air barriers, vapor barriers, mechanical systems, lighting controls and loads as well as determining lighting budgets.
