Denver, Colo. Thursday, May 9—AIA Colorado was honored last week with a 2019 PRSA Gold Pick Award for its refreshed website, which launched in late 2018.
The award recognized the AIA Colorado website for its updated messaging, user-friendly navigation, and dynamic blog, calendar and resources sections. Additionally, it was recognized for strengthening SEO, which took the website from previously being unsearchable to Google’s first page for 10+ keywords.
“We strove to make the website more visually appealing and to showcase the diverse skills and perspectives of our membership through more approachable and member-sourced content,” said Amy Blagriff, Honorary AIA and Interim CEO of AIA Colorado. “The site’s updated navigation has allowed us to better showcase key events, promote networking opportunities and highlight job opportunities across the state.”
The AIA Colorado website was also recognized for increased engagement and effectively using a limited budget.
