As the member community director, Carin Haen is responsible for providing members with excellent service and ensuring they take full advantage of all the benefits AIA Colorado offers. She also helps members with their continuing education requirements and connects them with local opportunities in communities throughout the state.
Carin also works with sponsors to optimize their positioning, exposure and relationship-building through support of AIA Colorado programs.
Carin has a passion for “doing business while doing good.” Prior to infusing her work at AIA with that motto, Carin lived her passion as the senior program manager and global grants manager at Western Union Foundation. She also has experience in business intelligence and consumer insights from her work at Coors Brewing Company and Ford Motor Company.
Carin’s guiding motto has also inspired her volunteer work, which has included serving as a program officer for PEAK Grantmaking Rocky Mountain Chapter, a tutor for Denver Public Schools and a program committee volunteer for B:CIVC.
A health and wellness junkie, Carin spends her weekends soaking up the Colorado outdoors hiking, trekking to a yurt and skiing. In fact, she has a goal (which she recently accomplished) to ski every month of the year.
The Brown Palace. I love high tea at the Brown Palace and enjoying the history, the preservation and a glimpse into eras of the past.
“A Room with a View” for its breathtaking scenery of Florence, Italy.
