MSU Denver Aerospace and Engineering Building

MSU Denver Aerospace and Engineering Building

The AES building is a direct conduit between Denver’s underrepresented populations and the region’s booming aerospace economy (Colorado is the second largest aviation and aerospace employer in the United States.) The client (MSU Denver) originally intended for the building to include a traditional mix of classrooms, offices, and advanced manufacturing labs. Given a funding shortfall, the Design Team facilitated a collaborative, concurrent programming and design process between industry leaders and the University. The resulting building blends academic spaces with state-of-the-art industry-sponsored labs, equipment, and a tenant lease floor for start-ups.

The Triangle Building

The Triangle Building

The Triangle Building is a commercial office building originally developed by forward-thinking East West Partners and located in Denver's bustling Union Station neighborhood. The building was noted in 2019 as one of the Ten Best new Buildings in Downtown Denver by Denver Westword. The ten story building is currently home to businesses such as Liberty Global and WeWork and embraces the unique urban site by celebrating the clean geometry of the triangle.

Douglas County Library, Lone Tree Branch

Douglas County Library, Lone Tree Branch

Over the course of several years, Anderson Mason Dale Architects worked on 3 libraries for Douglas County —Lone Tree, Parker, and Castle Pines. The Lone Tree Branch Library was honored with the Award of Distinction at the 2019 AIA Colorado Design Awards. The contemporary design of the library celebrates the progressive nature of Douglas County Library's service to their communities: openness, transparency, and connection. Spaces such as conference rooms, a flex/maker space, and a mix of outdoor and indoor event and lounge spaces illustrate the expanding services and amenities provided by modern-day libraries. While libraries remain important places for knowledge acquisition and sharing, they also serve as a critical community resource.
