Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel

Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel

Creating an environment to focus on the whole patient - mind, body and spirit: Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel is over 200,000 square feet spanning three stories. Patient rooms feature large floor to ceiling windows and nine foot ceilings. While aesthetically pleasing, these large open spaces can allow for sounds to carry great distances. Patient privacy and unwanted sound transmissions in patient rooms and public areas was of great concern to the administrators at the hospital, who selected QtPro sound masking from Cambridge Sound Management as the solution. With sound masking, speech becomes unintelligible within these open spaces, creating peaceful rooms that allow patients to speak privately.

The Bridgespan Group

The Bridgespan Group

Reducing Distractions and Protecting Speech Privacy in an Open-Concept Space: When the Bridgespan Group moved to a new location, they decided to move to a completely open office space with no cubicle partitions or walls. Yet, how could Bridgespan retain their open concept vision but also create an acoustically comfortable environment? Bridgespan selected QtPro sound masking and was able to create an open office environment that’s both beautiful and functional. Office chatter from team projects is no longer distracting and private conversations in the private rooms and conference rooms are not overheard by employees in the open area.

Autodesk

Autodesk

Designing a space for the architecture software leader: As Autodesk was designing their new headquarters, the team anticipated that the architectural design would pose acoustical issues. The space features numerous reflective surfaces such as glass, concrete, metal and wood. Additionally, while the short-style of the cubicle partitions is aesthetically pleasing, they do not block sound from travelling throughout the open office layout. QtPro sound masking was selected to address noise issues. Autodesk needed their solution to be simple to manage, flexible to work with and able to be customized for their unique space. QtPro proved to be the most adept at solving Autodesk’s challenges.
