Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. (SSR) Projects

Cheyenne Regional Medical Cancer Center & Emergency Department Addition

CRMC constructed the new 48,000 SF Cancer Wellness Center to provide education, support, and therapy for the communities of Cheyenne, greater Wyoming, and southeast Nebraska. The new addition for the emergency department is approximately 40,000 SF with five trauma bays, eight CDU exam rooms, four psychiatric exam rooms, 14 general exam rooms, a satellite pharmacy, and a pent house that holds all new MEP infrastructure. SSR provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology design services for the expansion and remodel of the downtown campus. The project was completed in 2014.

St. Joseph's Hospital & Health Center

SSR provided the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design, as well as the construction administration for a new 107,000 SF hospital and a new 3-story 76,000 SF medical office building for Catholic Health Initiative's in Dickinson, ND. The 25-bed, green field replacement hospital was designed the LEED Gold standards and also to an Energy Star target of 70 for energy efficiency. The project included a new central utility plant, which provides chilled water, heating hot water, normal and emergency power for both the hospital and the MOB. The project was completed in 2014.

Fort Lewis College Animas Hall

SSR provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology services for a new 50,000 SF residence hall at the Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO. The 3-story facility is comprised of 37 suites, 148 beds, a living rooms bathroom and small kitchenette area. The project achieved LEED Gold certification and was completed in 2009.
