Brick City House / Denver

Brick City House / Denver

This new residence emphasizes and reinterprets the small scale and character of its older, established Denver neighborhood. Without any dominant views to the exterior, the house focuses inward and wraps around an interior pool courtyard open to the sky. A simple palette of brick, walnut, plaster and glass is featured.

Upland Residence / Boulder

Upland Residence / Boulder

Composed of two overlapping perpendicular bars, this new residence maximizes indoor and outdoor living by creating privacy for ground level landscaped gardens while providing focused views of Boulder’s Flatiron Mountains from the upper level. The material palette consists of board formed concrete, cementitious stucco, wood and glass.

Aspen Community School / Woody Creek

Aspen Community School / Woody Creek

This new K8 school and gym/community hall offers a stimulating learning environment surrounded by the Rocky Mountain landscape. The design reinforces the cultural and historical identity of this well-established community institution. The project was recently awarded the 2015 Peak Design Award by the Association for Learning Environments.
