CU Ketchum Arts and Science

The 60,000-square-foot Ketchum Arts and Sciences Building's deteriorated, single-glazed, steel-framed windows were replaced with Wausau Window and Wall Systems' new, historically accurate, dual-glazed, aluminum-framed windows with thermal barriers and high-performance glass. Respecting the facility's original design, all of the new windows showcase true divided lites and beveled profiles.

Wausau Window and Wall Systems returned to contribute to the National Renewable Energy Laboratory’s (NREL’s) Research Support Facility (RSF) planned expansion. For RSF’s expansion, Wausau provided its highest performing triple-glazed windows and custom curtainwall, and assisted the design/build team in improving upon the initial structure’s exceptional energy performance.

Wausau’s 7250i-UW unitized curtainwall systems’ extruded aluminum frames and ClearStory™ exterior sun shades contain recycled content averaging 70% or greater. Linetec finished the majority of the aluminum in a VOC-free, clear anodize for easy maintenance and durability. Viracon supplied the high-performance, low-e, insulating glass to match Colorado’s challenging climate.
