The Architect leads and coordinates with other members of the Architectural Design team, and is responsible for creating high quality construction drawings and presentations for both small and large scale residential remodeling and custom home projects. The Architect’s goal is to thoroughly understand our clients’ tastes and vision (and in cases where that isn’t clear, to help them discover what that is), then develop a design plan accordingly that aligns with the budget.

Primary Tasks & Expectations 

  1. Perform site measures and create as-built drawings
  2. Independently set-up, produce and develop plans, elevations, sections, and 3D models (including mechanical and electrical requirements)
  3. Develop design options and make revisions throughout each project
  4. Ensure an optimal first impression and cultivate and nurture each professional relationship with a long-term view of success
  5. Navigate City/County approval and permitting processes
  6. Assist with client relations throughout life of the project


  1. Minimum 4 year undergraduate degree with BS or BA in Architecture
  2. Minimum of 5 years working in architecture, 3 of which at a minimum in residential
  3. Proficiency in Revit and Photoshop
  4. Experience working directly with homeowners from concept through Construction Documents

Required Skills & Competencies 

  1. Understanding of building materials and construction methods
  2. Knowledge of procedures for production of construction documents
  3. Understanding of Colorado residential building codes and land use codes
  4. Understanding of residential construction costs
  5. Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel

Position Details

Compensation: Based on experience and education

Position Type: Full-Time Exempt
