EYP is seeking an Architect to assist project teams and work on a variety of projects from SD through CA. This individual will be responsible for assisting in the design, technical quality, and production aspects of projects.


  • Perform design/technical tasks and provide guidance to unlicensed staff regarding project production
  • Develop construction documents
  • Coordinate project documents and specifications
  • Review drawings of junior team members to ensure building codes and regulatory requirements are met
  • Perform more advanced architectural assignments, perform complex design computations, prepare architectural documents. Develop solutions to technical problems
  • Assist Project Director, Project Architect and/or Job Captain in the execution of their duties; may assume some of the duties and responsibilities associated with these roles
  • May supervise an architectural intern or other junior staff during a portion of the job
  • Use technology and methodologies to create innovative approaches to building design
  • Consistently strive to improve technical quality of work product by keeping abreast of new technologies, changes in building codes, and advances in the industry
  • Work collaboratively in a cross-discipline environment to produce integrated project documents and insure integrated design approaches and solutions
  • Assist with managing cross-discipline coordination


  • Bachelors of Architecture required
  • Four to seven years of related experience and/or training
  • Must be a Registered Architect
  • General knowledge of architectural practice
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic firm financial metrics related to project management
  • Must have experience in producing BIM construction documents
  • Revit proficiency required
  • Ability to provide direction to less senior team members
  • Knowledge of NavisWorks preferred
  • Experience with cross-discipline (engineering) coordination
