AIA Colorado seeks member volunteers to serve on committees that embody the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
Volunteering with AIA Colorado is a great way to use leadership skills, meet like-minded colleagues, expand your network, and shape the profession. We encourage candidates from a variety of perspectives and backgrounds including career stage, firm size, practice type, location, and personal demographics.
Applications for 2025 are closed. 2026 applications will be open during the month of November.
Each group has a leadership council that at minimum includes a: Chair, Vice Chair/Co-Chair, and Secretary. Additionally, two or more At Large Members may be appointed. For many groups, no further roles are identified but for some, a larger roster of committee members is assigned.
The purpose is to provide insight to the entire membership, not only those within the group.
Ongoing Communications
Our goals include providing insight for the entire membership, rather than only those within the group. Periodically throughout the year, each committee will be asked to provide a summary of discussion, an article, host a webinar or event, etc. in order share out with the broader AIA Colorado community.
