Colorado ByDESIGN™ Episode 2

In this episode of Colorado ByDESIGN™, we explore how design elevates our connection to the landscape, from the highest peaks to serene community retreats. We begin at RTA Architect’s Pikes Peak Summit Visitor Center, a high-performance, sustainable marvel situated at 14,115 feet that redefines extreme construction. Then, The Lookout in Telluride is a net-zero residential masterpiece that frames the San Juan Mountains with precision. Next, we showcase JNS Architecture + Interior Design’s Foothills Golf Course Clubhouse in Jefferson County, where mass timber and strategic elevation provide an elevated experience for the public. Finally, Sopher Sparn’s The Great Dharma Chan Monastery in Superior is a tranquil sanctuary that harmonizes spiritual practice with the natural beauty of its environment

Colorado ByDESIGN™ Episode 2

In this episode of Colorado ByDESIGN™, we explore how meticulous craftsmanship and thoughtful design cultivate harmony within the home and the community. We begin at BOSS Architecture’s FairplayCABIN, a residential retreat that perfectly balances rugged mountain aesthetics with refined, modern interiors. We then visit Kyle Webb Architect’s Wild Rose, a stunning project that exemplifies high-level collaboration and artistry in construction. Our journey continues to CCY’s Mollie Aspen, an exceptional hospitality destination that integrates into the historic downtown fabric of Aspen. Finally, we explore Tomecek Studio’s LoHi Studio Loft, a masterclass in maximizing space and functionality through clean, modern design.

Colorado ByDesign™ Broadcast Premiere

Colorado architecture is stepping into the spotlight with the launch of Colorado ByDESIGN™, the newest regional edition of the internationally recognized ByDesign television series. The series will officially premiere on CBS Colorado (KCNC TV Channel 4 Denver) and CBS News Streaming Colorado, beginning June 13, 2026 with a five-week local broadcast run, featuring projects and stories from AIA Colorado member architects whose work is shaping communities across the state.
