Build Relationships

• AIA Colorado opens the door to relationships with nearly 2,500 architects and design professionals throughout Colorado.
• As an Allied Member, you’ll cultivate these relationships by participating in Chapter events and knowledge communities alongside architects.
• Allied Members are eligible to respond to the annual call for volunteers to serve on AIA Colorado committees.

• AIA Colorado members are leaders in designing our future. As a member, you’ll be able to share your perspective and contribute to discussions around urban design, sustainability and policies that shapes our state.
• Gain a subscription to our twice-monthly newsletter to stay abreast of industry trends.
• Membership enables you to post a job on our job board (member rate applies) and find the right architect for your needs.

Gain Visibility

• All active members in good standing for the membership year will be included in the online Allied Member Directory.
• Allied Members of AIA Colorado may describe themselves as “Allied Members of AIA Colorado.” (However, AIA National Bylaws specify that Allied Members [of AIA Colorado or any AIA Chapter] may not print or in any way use the logo, emblem, symbol or insignia of the Chapter or the Institute or in any other way use language that may be construed as endorsement or approval of any construction material, product or service.)
• Access continuing education centered around current and future trends, leadership development and making a difference in your community

Access to AIA Colorado’s Most-Celebrated Events

• The Practice + Design Conference, which includes networking opportunities with more than 600 design professionals, keynotes by nationally and internationally renowned speakers, exhibits and demos of the newest products and services.
• Member pricing for all AIA Colorado events, including complimentary access as a member benefit when advertised as free to members. Allied members can also enjoy member rate for postings to AIA Colorado job board.

• If you are in an industry related to architecture but are not a licensed architect or are currently pursuing a license, you are eligible for Allied Membership, only available to individuals. Allied Members may not hold a license to practice architecture.
• AIA Colorado Allied membership runs on a calendar year beginning Jan 1. Prorated rates are not available for those joining after the new year, and I understand that my benefits begin/continue immediately upon annual dues payment through Dec 31. I also understand membership is individual and does not extend to my entire company/staff team.
• Annual membership is for the person(s) listed on this form and is not transferable or refundable and does not extend to the individual’s entire company.
• AIA Colorado Allied membership is only recognized by AIA Colorado, not AIA National. Members receive state and local benefits as provided by this Chapter.

• Annual Allied Memberships costs $500 for each allied member. Join or renew by January 1.
• Auto-payment occurs annually unless otherwise noted in the following payment screen.
• Annual payment to AIA Colorado is not tax-deductible as a charitable contribution for federal tax purposes. However, your payment may be deductible under other provisions of the Internal Revenue code; consult with your tax advisor.
