What is ARCpac?

  1. ARCpac is a Political Committee (PC) for the financial support of state-level candidates created by AIA Colorado members. Political Committees are often utilized by groups with a common interest, such as architects, who are looking to collect larger contributions from people and corporations to provide modest support in numerous elections.
  2. Both individuals and companies can make contributions of up to $725 to ARCpac every two-year election cycle.
  3. Contributions from ARCpac to state level candidates are limited to $400 per election cycle.

Can I see the total amount of donations collected through ARCpac?

Anyone, at any time, can see all of the contributions made by ARCpac, ARCsdc, or any other Political Committee or Small Donor Committee by visiting the Colorado Secretary of State’s website. Note: A search using the word “architect” will quickly get to both ARCpac and ARCsdc information. There are several types of political fundraising structures permitted under Colorado law. For more information, visit the Secretary of State’s Elections website.
