About This single-level rural residence is intelligently divided into a "living" zone and a "sleeping" zone. The "living zone" includes an office, open kitchen, sunken living room, dining room, and service spaces, while the "sleeping zone" comprises two bedrooms and a primary suite centered around a private zen courtyard. The ranch-style home harmonizes with the landscape through its low-slung design that follows the undulating topography. The house features 3D printed concrete "program pods" for privacy, extensive timber curtainwalls, multiple courtyards, and a structure of heavy timber columns and cross-laminated timber (CLT) roof, showcasing the possibilities of emerging construction techniques.
