The restored neon sign preserves its familiar identity, while vintage gas pumps reimagined as electric-vehicle chargers connect its automotive past to the future. A former swimming pool becomes a public plaza and outdoor dining area, and carefully selected materials recall the station’s motorist-era character. This thoughtful adaptive reuse celebrates local memory while giving a beloved structure renewed community purpose.
